I founded Sohma House because I was tired of watching patients fall through the cracks of a system that treats symptoms in silos. Too many people were being managed — not healed. I wanted to build something different.

My approach centres on understanding the full picture before making any clinical decisions. That means taking time, listening properly, and coordinating with every practitioner involved in your care. The best outcomes come from genuine collaboration, not isolated prescriptions.

Before Sohma House, I spent over fifteen years in general practice and integrative medicine across regional Queensland, working with patients managing complex chronic conditions, hormonal imbalances, and the kind of health concerns that conventional care struggles to hold.

Dr Cameron Smith is a general practitioner and integrative medicine specialist with over 15 years of clinical experience. As the founder and medical director of Sohma House, he leads a multidisciplinary team focused on treating the whole person through evidence-based medicine, collaborative care planning, and patient-centred practice.

His clinical interests include hormone therapy, complex chronic conditions, integrative case management, and building clinical systems that keep practitioners and patients connected.
